12 Volt Electric Wiper Motor

The most common type of motor used for homemade and professional halloween props! Commonly called a "Wiper Motor" because they are primarily used for windshield wipers on vehicles! These motors are great for prop building, can get wet, and provide high torque while being very reliable!

Must use a 12 Volt 5 Amp Power Supply or an Adjustable 5 Amp Power Supply to operate the motor. A lower amperage power adapter will NOT power this motor. Also, if you do source your own power adapter, keep in mind some power adapters will NOT work with these motors. The power adapters we sell are guaranteed to work with our motors!

We recommend using a Speed Controller or an Adjustable 12 volt Power Adapter to control the speed of the motor. We sell these separately or as a complete kit with the motor (See other product listings)

These motors can be used outdoors but all wiring and electronic components (speed controller/power adapter) must be in a water tight enclosure.
